My accomplishments will prove to have lasting benefits to our city for many years to come.
- It was my pleasure to gift 75 turkeys from the Joseph Family to SIB residents in need for Thanksgiving.
- Worked with FDOT to install the red light and crosswalk at 189th Street and Collins Avenue.
- Fought to bring back the E-Bus line to inner Sunny Isles streets, or a better alternative.
- Worked with FDOT to fix lights at Bella Vista park that had not worked in two years.
- Corrected the installation of speed bumps on 174th Street to before the crosswalks, making it safer for residents.
- Had trees trimmed that were blocking lights around Gwen Margolis park to make the streets brighter.
- Worked to add over ten police officers during my time as commissioner and will add more.
- Worked to add the first public tennis courts in SIB at 158th Street.
- Identified the need for non-emergency call software to link cell phones to police for video, a life saving idea.
- Worked with several condo managers to correct many elevator and pool violations.
- Added sewers to Golden Shores to alleviate flooding.
- I will continue to do the same, and more, for all residents of SIB in my next term.
